  • Ede-principles, development of a set of 6 practical and  feasible sustainable tourism actions, which tourism industry can undertake in cooperation with NGOs worldwide.

  • ECPAT-NL, elaborating a strategy for cooperation between tourism industry and NGOs in the Netherlands, in the fight against commercial sexual exploitation of children,

  • ECPAT-EU/ Grouppe Development, elaborating a strategy for cooperation between tourism industry and NGOs in Europe, in the fight against commercial sexual exploitation of children,

  • Feasibility studies in Tanzania (cooperation with SNV in preparing the award-winning Cultural Tourism programme).

  • Feasibility studies in Cameroon (cooperation with IUCN in preparing a masterplan for the Waza Logone area).

  • Feasibility studies in Surinam (cooperation with the Surinam-Netherlands Chamber of Commerce in designing innovative sustainable tourism initiatives).

  • Participation as sustainable tourism expert in several programmes and conferences, among others the Tourism advisory group of ECPAT international

  • Representation of NGOs in multi-stakeholder platforms as the Bilateral Agreement on Sustainable Development between Costa Rica and the Netherlands, the UNCSD-7 in 1999 and the resulting UN Ad Hoc Working Group on Tourism and the Preparatory Committee for the International Year of Ecotourism
